NPC member Martin Wright was  the proud recipient of the 2023 BCRA Tratman Award for Caving Literature for his book entitled Pioneers Beneath the Peak. The book tells the history of cave diving exploration in England's Peak District and was published by Wild Places Publishing. All royalties from the sale of the book are going to Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation. Over £2,000 has already been raised for this worthy cause.
