NPC Kindred Clubs

Of the many and varied clubs and organisations with an interest in caving in the North of England, just a few are old enough and big enough to be "senior" clubs with established traditions and a rich verbal history. Several of these clubs are "Kindred" in that they maintain links, such as inviting a guest from each of the other clubs to their annual dinner. The NPC has such a dinner exchange with three clubs, all of whom have a website.

Many members of the Northern Pennine Club are also members of the Cave Diving Group, as you would expect from the number of recent discoveries which the club has made beyond sumps. Being situated in the Dales, and drinking regularly in the New Inn, Clapham, it is inevitable that we are also closely involved in the Cave Rescue Organisation.

You can also find a great number of other clubs, national bodies and special interest groups on the web. Some are hosted by Andrew Brooks, while others can be reached from his links page at Dundee University.
